Using Our New Templates in PandaDoc

Written by Anna Barram | Apr 2, 2021 2:21:38 AM

In late 2020, PandaDoc released an updated document editor that has since become widely used and accepted. As PandaDoc users ourselves, we thought it was time to make the change to Editor 2.0.

So, what does this mean? Nothing major will be changing for you. While the new editor is more robust than the original PandaDoc editor, the user interface is nearly identical. What do you need to do? Nothing beyond following the directions below.

As always, don't hesitate to reach out to your RSM our our New Jersey customer success team with any questions.

Key Take-aways

  • "Tokens" are now referred to as "variables" in Editor 2.0. These are essentially the same thing, but the user-interface navigation has changed just slightly. Be sure to navigate to "variables" when attempting to fill out the fields in a new document.
  • Be aware of page breaks. If you're adding lengthy content to the fees page, be aware that you'll need to insert page breaks to accommodate your content.
